Your heel should fit snug with no slipping. The midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight. You should have enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes. Our shoes are made to fit directly out of the box. They do not need to be broken in.

People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big. Clues that your shoes are too small or narrow include - foot cramping or "falling asleep" or the formation of blisters and calluses between or on your toes.

Feet typically get bigger with age. We encourage you to have your feet measured every year. Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.

Your left and right feet may differ in length or width as much as a full size. Be sure to measure and try shoes on both feet, and always buy shoes to fit your larger foot.

While the incremental enlargement/reductions between the sizes and widths are industry standards – not every manufacturer starts with the same measurement for their model size.

Rockport uses the Brannock Device measurement along with several taped forefoot volume measurements as a starting point for both men’s and women’s shoes.

I have a very wide feet and it’s hard for me to find a good looking shoe. When I came across this on the Internet, I was really glad it had wide width in many sizes. That’s an oddity these days. Anyway, when I tried them on, my feet felt like they were walking on air. So comfortable in every way, I like them so much I immediately ordered a second pair. You can’t go wrong with these babies! A fully satisfied customer for life!

Sadly, I can’t wear these shoes. I would love to, I have narrow feet. If only they came in narrow, I’d buy pairs of all the colors. They’ll look great on fat-footed stylish men.

The 10 4Es that were sent to me were way too long more like 10.5 or 11s. I returned and ordered 9.5 4e and they fit length wise but were way too narrow. On both pairs they were too loose in the heel. They need more padding in the heel. I believe I probabl

Shoes that are sized to fit, designed and made well, seem to be the exception rather than the rule these days. Rockports are reliable!
Good Looking, Comfortable
So far, these are very comfortable, although they do run a bit wide. These are more like a 5E than a 4E; this is fine for me, as I am closer to a 5E anyway. Otherwise, they look good for daily wear and fit well. I liked them enough to get a second pair.
