Sizing Tips
- Your heel should fit snug with no slipping. The midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight. You should have enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes. Our shoes are made to fit directly out of the box. They do not need to be broken in.
- People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big. Clues that your shoes are too small or narrow include - foot cramping or "falling asleep" or the formation of blisters and calluses between or on your toes.
- Feet typically get bigger with age. We encourage you to have your feet measured every year. Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
- Your left and right feet may differ in length or width as much as a full size. Be sure to measure and try shoes on both feet, and always buy shoes to fit your larger foot.
- While the incremental enlargement/reductions between the sizes and widths are industry standards – not every manufacturer starts with the same measurement for their model size.
- Rockport uses the Brannock Device measurement along with several taped forefoot volume measurements as a starting point for both men’s and women’s shoes.

I've been wearing this style of Rockport shoe for more than two decades. As a professional handyman, I needed a good looking slip on shoe and this was the one I started with. Why try something different when what you already have works so well? I can't remember how many pair of these I've gone through, but I always buy two pair at a time so I can alternate them each day.

I’m still breaking in the first pair. They’ll be used at an industrial workplace with lots of fine sand that destroys stitching on shoes quickly. Only Rockports seem to survive in this environment, and they’re also feather light.

These are incredibly supportive yet comfortable. Great alternative to the over-casual look of sneakers. There's something about a leather shoe that makes you feel less sloppy when out and around. With the sale price saving $30, I thought I'd give them a try. No regrets whatsoever!
Not Exactly What I Was Expecting
As always the fit is very good and the shoes are comfortable. The basic design of the shoe is the same but the grain of the leather in the picture was a courser grain and there was an emblem on the shoe in the picture that was not on the shoe I received.
