Uncomfortable and not the old Rockport.
I hadn’t owned a pair of Rockport shoes in years, so I decided to go back to the brand that I’d worn for a long time and that always delivered supreme comfort. Unfortunately, this is not the same product. It looks the same, but the outsole is hard and not cushioned. The upper looks like leather, but feels like vinyl. The interior footbed delivers no comfort whatsoever. I note that these shoes were made in India, which is not a hotbed of quality cow leather footwear production. All in all, I’m extremely disappointed and I should know of what I speak as I was once the CEO of the Rockport Company.

Disappointing
Been wearing Rockport for decades. I've been an unpaid spokesman. This pair were hard as a rock, interior and exterior. In addition, a hole at the seam near the heel. They are on their way back! NO MORE ONLINE!

Good shoe but not perfect
This is a very good shoe. The leather is high quality and looks great. My only complaint is the insole seems a bit thin through the ball of the foot.

What I would expect from a great shoe & company
Had recently purchased another Rockport shoe online but experienced a manufacturing defect. Customer service was great and allowed me to select this shoe as my replacement and am so glad I did.

Color and style are great, but...
They are somewhat stiff comfort wise. I’ve read earlier models were more comfortable. They don’t really ever break in. Rather, you just get used to them. I’m guessing the rubber sole they use now isn’t as pliable as in years past. Still...the color and style really appeals to me. After 10 months wearing them, my feet have gotten used to the stiff feel. I bought these for the style and color, which I can’t find from any other shoe company. If you wear a size 9.5 sneaker, order these a full size smaller.

i had to return the shoes....i had difficulty in getting them on and off....i'm 87 and can't bend well...the tongues had the laces thru them....

I've been wearing these for 20 plus years
I am on maybe my 7th or 8th pair of these shoes. I keep 3 pairs of these. One for a work shoe black,, one for a casual shoe to wear with shorts suede, one in brown for some variety. The black shoes that I wear for work... everyday for the last 5 years (at least 1000 hard days) in water, mud, grease... not all at once, just hose 'em off ,good to go.
re-soled once. I could still wear them
