"I bought these with another pair of boots thinking that I might only keep one pair, but I liked these so much I kept both pair of boots. Only down side for me is that I think these are really just shoes, not a true chukka because the ankle is not high enough to be considered a true chukka. So if you’re looking for a good hiking boot these probably won’t do it for you. Otherwise, they are comfortable and nice looking. I think they looks as good with jeans as with chinos so they can be used for a variety of situations."

"very nice shoe. a bit long for the 8.5W size ordered, but not too large."

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn’t fit Right bootwas significantlly wider than the left. The loafers are the same style, size and width of a pair I’ve worn for 2 years. The new pair is too smal by a full size at least

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot! I finally got rid of my last Rockports after wearing them for about 8 years. Although they don’t make the same style I used to have, I found these instead. They look great, fit true to size and are comfortable to wear. I’m planning on buying another pair (to have once these wear out) soon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice shoe, but... I wear a size 10. All of the recent Rockport shoes that I've purchased lately (including this pair) have been at least a 1/2 size too big. I returned these shoes. Rockport apparently has some sizing quality control. Too bad, they make good shoes otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! The shoe is nicer looking than I the pictures show. Almost too nice for casual hiking! Fit perfect for me. Super comfortable right out of the box. I haven't had a chance to check the "waterproofness" but the construction seems to be so. I've worn them about a dozen times. No foot fatigue or discomfort. Overall, a great deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality I bought these about a month ago, simply because I have other Rockport casual wear shoes I wear for work. Although these latest addition to my Rockport collection are high quality shoes, it is hard to determine exact sizes for that perfect fit. Additionally, I order a brown and black pair of these. Although they were labeled the same size, they were clearly not. As a result, I had to send the black pair back as they were too small. That being said, and again, although these are quality shoes, the brown pair were slightly larger than I wanted. Since both sizes were supposed to be the same but were not, I am uncertain of whether to go up or down in size at this point. So I have decided to just get my future Rockports from a local retailer. Finding a local retailer that has the variety Rockport offers online though, will be my next search. I have gone to several retailers already, but they only stock one shoe type in two colors which I already have. The comfort of this shoe is nice, but are a little harder on the bottom of the foot than my previous shoes. Again, the quality or craftsmanship of the shoe itself is great, but they really didn't give me the typical Rockport wearing feeling. Perhaps is the fact that the shoes are not consistent in size from shoe to shoe, resulting in the inability of getting the right one.
