"I recently retired and bought myself a $200 pair of boots I'd been pining after for over 2 years. It was recommended that I buy them one size smaller and that over time, they would comfortably shape to my feet. I got blisters after my first walk. Two weeks later I tried again and barely made it a quarter mile. I bought an expensive stretcher, and for weeks attempted to give my feet a little wiggle room. It was a disaster!! Disgusted I gave them away to a friend with smaller feet. This was my first pair of Rockports, and I was justifiably nervous. I bought my regular size and they were ready to wear right out of the box! I did put in a pair of insoles, as I do in all my shoes and these boots fit PERFECTLY...for "half" the cost of the pair that brutalized my feet! I love them and highly recommend them to anyone if this is any example of the quality footwear you can expect from Rockport! I will buy more Rockports in the future! =)"

"I bought 2 pair of these boots, one black and one brown. They are nice looking boots and very comfortable. I did have to return them once to get a wider size as they were a bit snug. I went from a M to a W and they fit like a glove! Very comfortable and stylish!"
