"I bought my only other pair of Rockport shoes, the Pro-Walker, in the summer of 1998. The sole came off early in December 2020--only lasted 22 years! I seldom buy shoes online due to the difficulty of getting the right fit; but given the Coronavirus, I did not want to go shopping. When I decided to order, the basic and less expensive Pro-Walker was not available in my size; so I opted for the more expensive Edge Hill 2. I am so glad. This shoe fits perfectly and the leather upper is supple and the leather lining is WONDERFUL. The only downside is the same one I've found with most shoes I've purchased in recent years: the laces are too long and a bit too slick, the latter results in my needing to retie them after a few hours of wear. In spite of this, I would buy them again."
