Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable But Laces WILL NOT STAY TIED! I've had these shoes for the past few months. They are typically VERY comfortable Rockports, especially for wide feet. BUT BEWARE: the laces WILL NOT STAY TIED no matter how many times/ways you tie/knot them. I just called customer service and was essentially blown off after 20+ years as a loyal Rockport customer. I reported the issue and was directed to a Rockport sister website TO BUY NEW LACES. (Are you kidding me!?) I was told "this is not a known issue" and not considered a defect. I don't know what I'm more disappointed by: the defective laces or the utter disregard for a loyal customer. I'm not one to typically leave negative reviews, but this is a case study in how to lose loyal customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So pleased with my purchase! These are my second pair of Rockports and I'd forgotten what a pair of comfortable shoes felt like. I may never go back to anything else. These shoes are worn 9-12 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would get super tired and cranky at work every day but when I got these, I'm just ready to go every day all day. The heal cushion is the memory foam, I believe. This was the main source of my discomfort for a long time and this was just the thing I needed. They're good for movement so far, also. They're flexible on top and don't crease or come apart at the stitching. Overall, just amazing pair of shoes for indoor sales work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes I bought these shoes a little over three months ago. I'm on my feet 8 hours a day 5-6 days a week in a fast pace environment on cement and thin carpet flooring. Great comfort and support, nice soft leather, lining and sole seems to be holding up very good, I normally go through shoes in less than 6 months and these show very slight wear on them. There was no break in period needed, these were very comfortable from the first time wearing them. I work in the public so my shoes have to be casual/stylish and these fit the bill I will be buying another pair unless they discontinue them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shoe runs narrow I bought a pair of these for my father in 11W but the fit was narrow - he preferred the Blucher Mudguard in 11W. Amazing to see the difference in length and width between the two "Blucher" shoes, yet supposedly the same size! The grey with burgundy Mudguard Blucher was also a better looking shoe. Re the sole - I thought these were going to be a rubber sole but they are not. It is more like a rubber plastic, which surprised me as previous shoes had a nice rubber sole on them. That said, the tread seems to be very good and perhaps these will wear better than the rubber sole, which on my Dad's older shoe showed a lot of wear in the areas on the outside of the sole.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality has really gone down! I used to only wear rockport. But now the quality has gone way down hill. Soles have changed and are hard and cheap. I will not buy anymore Rockport's. I'm done. Used to be the best show you could buy. Not anymore and it's sad!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not sized correctly I bought 2 pair of shoes and I have never had an issue with Rockport fit and finish. These shoes were way too small even compared to the other pair and I was forced to return them. I would have bought another pair of Rockports but none were available in my size on the promotion. I will continue to purchase Rockports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbeatable comfort My wife talked me into buying two pairs of these shoes (black and brown), and I'm glad she did. They have to be the most comfortable shoes I have every worn. They may be too casual for business use, but for other casual uses they are perfect. I have never bought a shoe that fit perfectly from day 1 with no break-in period. I can't comment on how they will hold up, since I just started wearing them, but in terms of comfort they can't be beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Insert My feet were painful and I set up an appointment with a foot doctor. In the meantime I bought these shoes. After putting them on the pain went away. I still kept the podiatrist appointment. He was impressed with the insert and told me to continue wearing them. I ordered another pair and will write to Rockport and ask them what other shoes they have with the same iinsert.
