The heal is great but the support in the front of the foot runs a little thinner compared to previous versions. I bought insoles for mine.

Happy with initial quality.
I like these boots very much. They're good looking, comfortable, and waterproof. I'm cautiously optimistic because I bought a similar pair of Rockport boots last year; and, I enjoyed wearing them very much; but, the Leather Upper on each of the boots is separating from the sole at the toe.

Good looking shoe
It’s a good looking shoe but runs bigger then expected. Usually a 9 in a boot, bought a 8 1/2 wide, still way to big, exchanging them to > 8 medium.

Shoe to me looked cheap
I returned the shoes. To me they looked cheap, and didn't appear to be the quality of what I have purchased from Rockport in the past. I found some from another major brand, that I like much better at less $$$.
