Our Hydro-Shield technology incorporates advanced waterproofing materials and processes to help keep feet dry. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed during the tanning process, and then we seam-seal the footwear for additional protection. Partially gusseted tongues and zippers treated with durable water-resistant coatings further deter water entry. In products that have areas of textile, the footwear is only waterproof up to the point where leather is used.

Good Shoe, Great Features . . . but
Sizing and fit are very good. Styling and detail are very nice. My one complaint is that the finish of the leather has a "suede" (nubuck) feel to it. My experience is that these types of leather tend to stain or get dirty more easily. The pictures did
Great shoes and value
Fit great, great traction, very comfortable. The tongues are a slightly different color than the uppers and have diamond stitching. I didn't pick up on that in the on-line pictures and aren't my ideal, but I still like the shoes very much overall.

Comfortable, sturdy, keep my feet dry in wet conditions, easy to clean. I'm happy with these, as they were my second choice as my usual shoe was out of stock in my size. My shoe collection has now grown by one, yay a shoe for every outfit and occasion.
