Privacy Notice
Dear Valued Rockport Customer - Thank you for your loyalty and dedication to the Rockport brand!
As of August 7, 2023, Authentic Brands Group (“Authentic”) will be acquiring certain assets of The Rockport Company, LLC, including the Rockport brand and the Rockport customer base. On July 27, 2023, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware approved the sale of these assets to Authentic. Although The Rockport Company, LLC no longer will continue to operate as a legal entity, Authentic will work with a licensed partner to operate Rockport and to bring you the products that you currently enjoy.
You have the right to opt-out of the transfer of your personal information from Rockport to Authentic. The type of personal information that Rockport holds about you varies by person, but may include: your name, email address, billing and mailing addresses, and purchase history. Upon transfer of your personal information, your personal information will be used in accordance with Rockport’s privacy policy. If, however, you want to opt-out of the transfer, please email [email protected] with the subject line “opt-out” by September 5, 2023. If you opt-out, Rockport will not transfer your personal information to Authentic; as a practical matter, this means that you will no longer receive email marketing about Rockport’s products (if applicable) and Authentic will not have information about your purchase history. If you take no action, then your personal information will be transferred to Authentic after September 5, 2023.
If you have any questions about this notice, please contact us at [email protected] In addition to the right to opt-out of the transfer, residents in certain states have additional rights regarding their personal information.
