Review Snapshot

Men's PulseTech Alt Bungee Sneaker is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacks Support As a long time Rockport customer I was very disappointed how poor these were in providing practically no arch support or otherwise. Will be returning soon. Bought another pair different model and they are only slightly better. Shoes I bought 30 years ago are better and the last pair I bought 2 years were better as well. Seems like the whole industry has bailed on providing quality arch/internal support and had to buy separate inserts. Kind of defeats the whole quality that Rockport was supposed to stand for. Similar experience with sandals purchased at same time. Returning those as well. Makes little sense that the rest of the shoes are well made to scrimp on actual support for our feet that would almost guarantee foot problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate Not exactly what I was expecting. Fit and feel are good, actually excellent, but ease of getting on and off more challenging than anticipated. The ease of quick change capability was the primary reason for purchasing. A little disappointed with that feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok..,, but the laces I really like the appearance of this shoe, it’s comfortable, but because of the laces it doesn’t fit tight.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over-sized I'm an 11 but I ordered a 10 and a half wide because I was worried they might be a little loose... these shoes are way too oversized. Even though I went half a size smaller they still fit me as if they were a size too large I don't even know what to think, but the blisters are healing nicely

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unusual midsole insert I bought these a few weeks ago and the fit is as expected but lacking cushioning I'm used to. Decided to upgrade insole but with unusual deign I'm unable to. Would not buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The sneakers look great and fit well but the red accent ribbon on the front will not stay in the middle of the shoe as designed. Instead, it slides off to the side after a only few steps. I slide it back but it quickly slides off again. I'm disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slip on snugly Great comfort and support. Easy on/off. Sporty athletic look; serves multiple purposes. Surprisingly good choice, I would choose it again as a gift for friends and me!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seemed well built, however shoes ran large for me The shoes seem to be well made. The soles seem to be sturdy, comfortable and a new technology, Pulse Tech, for Rockport. They were attractive. However, I normally order a size 11 M with all my Rockport shoes. These shoes were too large length wise by about an inch. I usually like about a half inch from the end of my toe to the end of the show. Because it has a bungee cord for laces you can not tighten the laces and thus no way to tighten the fit. I think the bungee laces would be fine if the shoes fit you. If available I would have exchanged them for a size 10.5. However these shoes have very limited sizes in stock. I ended up returning them and I ordered sneakers, with laces, with the same sole technology. (Men's PulseTech Plain Toe Sneaker) I did order a size 10.5 M instead of a size 11 M. This Pulse Tech technology seems to run a little large according to other reviews. I'm waiting for the new sneakers to arrive soon. I will post another review once I receive the new sneakers.
