"Used to buy the brand when I needed a good fitting and nice looking business shoe. Recently looked at the brand again, since I retired, and found these. Summer is coming, I didn’t want to wear my snow boots for my small bit of out door work so I bought these. Used them today and found them to be really comfortable, well fitting, and easy on the eyes."

a little long fir my foot.
I wear 10 wide in most every shoe, but these were about a 1/2 size or more too long, width was a good fit though. Otherwise they looked good and were comfortable,

Nice shoes except for the arch support.
Nicely made shoes. Run a bit wide and long in the toe area, which is fine for me. The padding in the heel makes it feel like the arch support is totally missing, can't tell by looking at it but you can definitely feel it when wearing.

Comfortable, but...
I have always loved Rockport, especially their waterproof shoes. I play a lot of golf and their walking/hiking waterproof shoes have been great, though they quit making the last 4 pairs I’ve bought. Not sure that these will work for golf as they feel like the heel is elevated(not that I’ve worn high heels before!).
P.S. my fault for not reading the entire description, but I dislike suede shoes as they’re always scuffed and I have never rated a pair this low.

Excellent Shoe
I have been hiking and running for 40+ years. Have always been frustrated with the terms water repellent and water proof. Usually found out that repellent just meant it took you longer to get wet. While waterproof meant you had to pay up for it like GoreTex. I needed a good waterproof shoe for upcoming trips where I expect rain but also need the support and comfort to put in six to seven miles a day. Yes. High standards from someone who has purchased many shoes.
Liked the reviews and price of these Rockports, plus they are beautiful.
Put them on and it was love at first sight. They just fit right. Have only done three three mile hikes so far in wintery Ohio, but they are excellent!

Love my shoes
I am wearing them now. They are casual but every chance I get I am wearing them. so comfortable, sturdy, water proof and still have an appealing style.
