"I have owned this boot for at least 6 months now. When I purchased them I wasn't sure what role they might take. I now keep them for casual dress. They are the only pair of footwear I own that has their own shoe trees I like them that much. I hit them with an occasional coat of Wonder Balsam and it keeps them looking great. I wear a large wide size so I appreciate the roomy toe box, a comfortable boot."

"Manufacturing seemed cheap. Chukkas starting at $150 often are leather lined, not these. Under the removable insert is what appeared to be pressed paper with a steel stamped rivet which looked like it would soon wear thru the thin insert. The outer l leather heel piece appeared off center. Rubber sole looks like its probably only glued on. They fit real nice; I wanted them until I inspected them closely. Ordering them I was going to accept they were not lined, assuming maybe they were still well made. Their label says they're made in China; would be OK if they were like $60. Seen lots of similar Chukkas starting at $59. My last Chukka were $150 Orvis, lined, had them for so long I wore out the soles. They dont sell this shoe lined anymore.?. Are made so well I could get them re-soled; not like these Rockports."

Review Snapshot

Royalton Chukka Boot is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scuffed & Scratched with no response to complaint I wrote this to them... Item CG7651-140-4E Shipped 5/11/20 Received 5/15/20 Pictures show the scratches on pair of shoes (one of two pairs received) in multiple locations on both shoes. The other pair are great. Limited to two pictures. Let me know if you want pictures of side scuffs also. Where these shoes returned by another customer and then sent out to me? I would like to return and replace or receive a reasonable credit. I can have the local shoe repair guy Repair and polish up the scratches When he opens after the virus problem. I called the 800-762-5767, waited on hold about 10-15 minutes, and was then told that there were no agents available and to “please call back later”. I will wait a day or so before sending back as I await hearing from you. Thanks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unhappy! Very unhappy! I placed an order during the sale. I received confirmation. Two weeks later I received a notice from Rockport customer service saying that the items were not in stock in my entire order had been canceled. I am a long-time Rockport customer. Of all of my online shopping at Rockport in other places this has never happened before. Customer Service made no attempt to offer something else. I will have to consider whether I Will make any future purchases from Rockport.
