Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not waterproof! I used the boots for an elk hunt in mid-Sept, and the sole didn't provide enough protection from rocks I stepped on, which caused the bottom of my feet to get sore. Then I put a harder orthodic insole in the boots for my Nov deer hunt, and they were much better. BUT THEY LEAKED LIKE CRAZY! I hadn't dealt with any water in Sept, but come Nov I dealt with rain and some boggy areas. The best example I can give is when I stepped onto a mossy spring origin, the boots sunk in to where the water just came over the toe and up to the bottom bootlace. When that happened, I felt the water flow into the boot! These boots are supposed to be waterproof as advertised and as labeled on the tongue and side of each boot. I contacted Rockport's consumer service, and they sent me a replacement pair of boots. They also leaked as soon as the water went above the lowest shoelace eye. The eyelet doesn't go into the interior of the boot, therefore isn't an opening for water to leak inside the boot. I tested the replacements in the tub by slowly raising the water level until I felt the rush of cold water on my feet. Rockport now says the boots are only waterproof to 2" deep water, and it's a leather treatment and not a Gortex or other waterproof liner. Again, they advertise and clearly label these boots as waterproof. Do not buy these boots if you want a boot that is completely waterproof up to the lowest point of the boot's tongue. Rockport should says these boots are only waterproof up to 2" of water in the boot's description, and even then the boots are probably only water resistant! They won't refund my money because I bought the boots through another on-line vendor, and that vendor won't give me a refund past 30 days from the date of purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable I have neurophy, high arches, hammer toes and a bunion starting. These boot are light weight, comfortable and fairly good traction on snow and ice. Being light weight not as much insulation as heavier boots. I bought a second pair just in case they stop making these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I thought they would be bought these for the winter season. Now I realize they are not insulated at all, just waterproof. Guess they will have to sit till spring, since I need warm feet in winter. Dont understand why they look like a winter shoe, including the sole pattern, yet are not insulated for $140.00?
