Living in New York is a true hustle and bustle. But on the weekend, coffee and style is my method to unwind. I enjoy finding different themed coffee shops that are perfect to slow down and relax. The rejuvenating smell of a fresh roast, the sights and sounds of the city is truly a great reward after a long week. But I don’t go to any regular coffee spots, I prefer to visit a local coffee shop that has aesthetic appeal and is rich in culture.
A few of my favorite local spots are:
1. Kobrick Coffee Co. offers a variety of certified organic coffee built on tradition; they plant source, cup, roast and package select coffees imprinted with a colorful style and legacy.
2. Maman NYC. A unique bakery, coffee shop and kitchen. They serve quality food and offer a delightful experience within an artistic and warm setting.
3. RH Rooftop Restaurant is located at the meatpacking district and is a collaboration with the furniture store, Restoration Hardware. The third level houses a coffee bar and wine terrace. And the rooftop has the restaurant with an amazing view of lower Manhattan.
Part of a good weekend coffee experience is getting to my coffee spot with style and comfort. My shoes lend themselves well - they are perfect for walking around the city. I love a versatile shoe that can have different outfit options. Here I styled my Men's Garrett Wingtip three ways.
It doesn’t surprise me to receive compliments when wearing the Men's Garrett Wingtip, whether it’s in the streets of New York or at your local coffee shop. It has a unique style I would describe as a fusion of a classic oxford and modern look, surely a great combination for all-day wear.
