I have never purchased Rockport before so when I ordered my normal size 8 1/2 wide, I found that they were way too big. I gave them to my sister as an early Christmas gift, they fit her perfectly. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort, out of the box! Love the style, the fit (I'm a 9 1/2, more narrow med. than wide). I need arch support, which this features, and wore them for hours the first time. I was doubting whether I was still a 9 1/2, because I've had to go 10 in some other brands, but the fit isn't great. I'm sticking with Rockport.
