Underneath the moisture-absorbing leather footbed is an EVA Tech Zone as well as adiPRENE by adidas cushioning to protect the heel at impact and adiPRENE + by adidas to provide a dynamic push. The heel gives me the height I need (I'm 5'2") without it looking like I'm tottering on stilts. And yet they're COMFORTABLE! (What a concept, right? A comfortable heel!)
