Christy Waterproof Tall Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Wide Foot, Narraw, Narraw Calf I bought these because I have wide feet and am 5'10. I am tall and large boned, calves are muscular and measure 17 inches. Statuesque if you will. These shoes, even with the side panels, which have little stretch, are narrow. I could not even get them zipped past my ankle. Thankfully I live in NYC and there are plenty of shoemakers (even Old World) to fix this. So sad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the style; odd color I'm headed to Scotland for two weeks and wanted an attractive, waterproof, tall boot. I did a LOT of research and style-wise, this one was most attractive to me. Plus--they were on sale here at Rockport. I wear and ordered 8.5 and returned the first pair for an 8.5 wide. 9 would have been too big based on room in the boot, so I was hoping a wide would solve my problem, and for the most part it did. I do not have a wide foot, mind you, but the first boot definitely constricted my outer 3 toes. They're still touching, but not to where I'm worried about pain. Foot bed feels nice and soft. Decent arch support. I'm wearing them with medium thickness bamboo socks and there's still some room in the heel and to wiggle my toes.I could probably wear a slightly thinker sock or layer a pedi over this sock. The color--Stone--is not thrilling me. I wanted a brown boot. The ad photos make it look like it has warm golden highlights, but this is a dull brown. The leather has a rubbery texture to it, which is I assume is the hydro-sheild waterproof treatment. I took them to a cobbler to see if we could adjust the color; he so no, it would just streak on that kind of waterproofing. There's also really no shading or texture. Almost doesn't look like leather at all. I hope they'll get more character with wear. Definitely stiff, but not in a hard leather kind of way. More like a rubber boot kind of way. I don't like super soft leather (I'd prefer no leather at all, but it's hard to find a good vegan boot that fits and is attractive), because it's floppy and looses shape quickly, so that's okay. I added photos with a few angles so you can see from front and side. I have thin but muscular calves. Jeans fit great into the shaft, especially since they stretch. I personally like the tougher boot look that I've seen some reviewers complain about. I don't think of it as masculine; I think of it as butt-kicking :) I think I will enjoy these boots, even though I'm settling a little with the color. I bought a pair of Danko Lorna Chelsea boots to compare. Everyone raved about them, but I thought they were not as attractive as these. Also, I went with these because they seem like they'll stand up to weather, and that's what I want, where the others were soft and high maintenance out of the box. Overall, I really like the style and where they sit on my leg, how they hug my calf (not too much room) and the foot bed is well-cushioned and supportive. They look good to me with both jeans and a dress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I got this boot as a replacement for my horseback riding boots. I was worried that they may be a bit small, but they are perfect! They are made very well and hold up in the tough conditions. They are also very comfortable. Generally with me and boots, the left one always digs into my Achilles Tendon and causes a blister until the boot it worn in. This one did the same as other boots, though after 3 days of wearing it for a few hours, it stopped hurting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I bough these about a month ago because of the clean but professional look of the boot, and also the arch support. They have exceeded my expectations. They are stylish and extremely comfortable. My feet never ache after a long day at work. Zipper on the calf was initially a little tight, but loosed up within the first couple weeks.
