This 3/4 mid-boot is my favorite style. I like that the black is all black, no two-tone business...just black. An added plus is that they are waterproof. Very comfortable around the ankle. The only negative is the form of the "walking" sole. It turns my foot inward and my big toe and inside section of my heel is pushing more and more towards the inside of the boot. It feels like the inside of the bottom of my foot is stepping on the area of the boot where the upper an sole are sewed togehter. I've never had another pair of boots do this. I don't think I'll be wearing them much longer. Too bad.

I have owned a pair of Rockport shoes for over 15 years! The best shoes I have ever owned...very light, comfortable, rugged & long-lasting. I decided to get another similar pair, but could not find them. I found a pair similar, but when I got them I knew they weren't the same quality of my original pair. The new pair were less rugged and the soles were not of the same quality. The shoes were light and comfortable to a degree, and felt a little narrow compared to my old pair, but may loosen up after wearing them more. I bought these on clarence for $90 delivered. I like them, but I know they will not last as long as my last pair. I'm thinking of replacing the bottom soles of my 15 year old pair because I believe I can get another 5 years used out of them...that's how much I love them. They just don't make the quality they use to.

Perfect support for me. Toe is a bit narrow, otherwise fits well. I hold out hope the Hamlet will be revived, but these will do very well in the meantime. I would certainly buy another pair.
