As with most of the Rockport shoes I've purchased over the years, these boots are comfortable to wear on the first day. They were a little narrower in the heel, as someone else mentioned in another review, but my heel tends to be narrower than the other end of my foot. Perfect! The warm lining has made them wonderful on cold New England winter days. A bargain at any price.

Bought extra width but normal size Rockport wouldn't fit. Could not get foot past ankle area. Too bad Boot is beautiful. Need to find local store to try on!

I started with the Lux Lodge lace-up style and fell in love with their comfort and looks, but wished for a slip-on type boot for travel though airports. Along came this model. I caught them at a great sale price and bought both styles. My feet have been thanking me ever since.
The Lux Lodge styles wear like slippers. I forget I have them on and its simply a pleasure to walk around in all this cushioning. Rockport really impressed me with this line of boots, to the point where I am disposing my heavy biker boots in favor of the Rockport comfort. Don't ever change this model Rockport, they're a great travel and all around boot, but if you add a non-insulated summer model I'll be in footwear heaven.
