Comfortabe but not as great as the old models
Well, I had a pair of blue Rockport boat shoes I bought 3 years ago and they were/are the most comfortable pair of shoes i've ever owned. I really wanted a new pair and these looked like the closest match. I ordered them, I waited with anticipation, I received and I liked them. They were comfortable and stylish but about 3 days in the seam started splitting. Next thing I know the seam has come apart the the shoe is laid open. I was in a bind because I was at a conference. Good thing I'm resourceful with a hotel meding kit, I fixed it.
The other thing is that these are lined with fabric not just leather. This means that wearing them without socks is going to be a stinky proposition. All in all, they're comfortable, but NOT well made and not really the shoes I wanted.

comfortable boat shoe
this is a comfortable boat shoe built with high quality materials. Excellent arch support compared to other boat shoes... fits narrow even on a wide width size.

Good every day shoe
Great looking shoe but a little lacking in the cushioning department. Problem fixed with a gel heel cushion that also mitigates the hight of the leather at the top of the heel.
