Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIGHT AND COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES I have several Rockport Shoes. My first pair is a Rocksport which I bought in 1987 and still using them after so many years. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I ever had, close to the comfort of my running shoes considering they have leather uppers. Too bad the design is already discontinued. With the City Trails Mudguard, I am  very happy with these shoes. They are light, good support. and wide toe box which gives big room for my toes. My work entails a lot of walking in Medical Laboratory and I find these shoes almost as comfortable as my running shoes even though they have leather uppers. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchase was easy and they are good shoes. I spend my time walking to and from the tube station on the concrete sidewalks of London. Regular shoes worked for a while but broke down quickly with the constant pounding. I have had Rockport walking shoes before and thought it was time to try again. So far my feet and legs do not hurt at the end of my mile and a half trek through the concrete jungle each day. A good sign of a good shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad flex point Where these shoes flex when I walk is uncomfortable. When I take a step, the top of the shoe flexes down into my toes which is really uncomfortable. Regrettably, I will be shipping them back for a refund this weekend. The fit of the shoes was perfect. The amount of cushioning was nice. They looked a little flashier than normal without being gaudy, which I liked. With a slight modification to the toe box, these would be great shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and durable. I purchased a pair of the City Trails 2 Rockport shoes a while back and have absolutely loved them. I wear them practically every day. While some shoes tend to fall apart after a while from wear, they do not. The leather and craftsmanship is very durable. They are also very comfortable with the Adidas adiprene sole. The Rockport City Trails Mudguard shoes seem to be the evolution of the city trails. They are stylish and just as well-made. If you're looking for a great pair of casual leather shoes, you can't go wrong with these. I will definitely be getting a pair of new Mudguard's or City Trails 3 if Rockport makes them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Rockport shoes seem to fit my feet better than any other brand, and I have tried all of them. I have been wearing Rockport Pro Walker series shoes for decades. Now this City Mudguard style arrives, and it fits every bit as well as the rest of my Rockports. The styling is handsome, and the overall look is pleasing. The soles are the usual lightweight very rugged material. I prefer to use foam "air pillow" insoles in all my shoes, and these have plenty of room to accommodate a little extra insole. Really, I just love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Comfortable The subtle, classic design is great for work or casual and not only is the quality worth the price, these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.  Would I buy another pair? Definitely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shoe for casual work days / general use This is a comfortable, lightweight shoe that serves well for casual work use. The styling sits comfortably between a sneaker and something more formal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handsome This is my forth pair of Rockports. I am now a disabled physician with one leg.  All people should avoid leather soles because old people slip and break at the wrist besides the noisy click click sound.  These shoes have the Rockport cloth tongue for ventilation and appear to be synthetic so they will never need polishing or go out of style.  They are basically very comfortable short galoshes just like the name implies.  I love them.
